MEET OUR TEAM
I am currently a student at Abilene Christian University, pursuing a Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southwestern Adventist University.
As a student intern, I believe that a positive change can occur in the relational and individual system. I desire to work with children, youth, families, and couples. I am a firm believer that if you work within the system and have the necessary tools, the system can change.
I grew up wanting to help others, and it is for that reason why I chose this path. I believe that anyone can obtain their full capacity and can experience a transformation in their lives.
When I graduate, I desire to continue educating myself, become a certified play therapist, and continue working on the systemic of the family. I would like to one day work towards providing parenting classes, play therapy, and marriage and family therapy.
A little about myself: I was born and raised in the Brazoria County area. I grew up in a bilingual, Puerto Rican household. In my spare time, I am highly active and involved in my church and enjoy learning more about God. I enjoy reading, photography, music, camping, and spending time with my family.
