There is a quiet strength that grows when you’ve had to carry more than you were ever meant to carry alone. I understand this not just as a therapist, but through my own life. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, I saw both trauma and resilience up close—and those experiences shaped my belief that healing is real, meaningful, and sacred.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Trauma Professional with over 15 years of experience supporting people across medical, school, crisis, and community settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston in 2013. My heart is to help individuals heal from childhood trauma, anxiety, complex PTSD, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and substance use challenges.
I especially enjoy working with women who feel stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or self-doubt. Suppose you are ready for something different—something deeper than just getting by. Together, we’ll gently work toward helping you feel safe again, reconnect with who you are, and build healthy, life-giving boundaries.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I integrate evidence-based practices like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other trauma-informed interventions, always moving at a pace that feels right for you.
For those who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling, including prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection. Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,” is a truth I hold close in the work I do.
My own journey with infertility and pregnancy loss has deepened my understanding of grief, faith, and resilience. I hold space for individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, NICU experiences, and medical trauma with compassion and care.
If you’re ready to begin healing, find your voice, and move forward with greater peace, I would be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to stay where you are—healing is possible, and there is hope for a life that feels whole, restored, and grounded in peace.
